My very first hummus

Over the weekend, I got a little too bored and craved hummus. Figured since I had some tahini ( sesame paste), I'll grab chick peas from the store and work on my dip. May I just say, I did not know hummus was this easy to make. I left the blender on for a few more seconds and over processed it! lol. It still tasted good but I'll be careful next time.

Shawarma

I woke up today wanting to make Middle Eastern food. I have not eaten a shawarma ever since I relocated to Iowa. I've had gyros which are Greek wraps and very similar to shawarmas but don't taste as good.
