RE: BARCELONA NEED A PLAN B

A

On the back of their recent shocking struggle against a young AC Milan side, critics, including my fellow Milan fan, Momodou Sisay Dibba, in his article "Barcelona Need A Plan B", have quickly jumped to remind us of how deficient and predictable the Tiki-taka system of Barcelona is. Yes, we expect that from critics but I’m rather surprised by how easily Barcelona fans have jumped ship and choose to join the nay-sayers.

Without even pulling statistics, let's see reasons they should have jumped to the defense of their team and a system that is arguably the best football fans have ever seen in the history of the beautiful game.

Amen to these slippers! Thus far my favorite shoes of 2011. I found these on luisaviaroma and they are heavenly. Too bad you can only pre order them at this time but they look like they are here to stay so no rush. The shoes have also been recently featured on Vogue. 2011, so far so good for fashion.

The Valentine's Special - A Love Like This

Your smile snatched away my potential Rolls Royce.
You destroyed my dreams of marrying rich with one blink of your beautiful eyelashes.
I hold you solely responsible that I’m not in
Paris today, Milan tomorrow.
It really escapes me what made me choose this life.

“I don't think you'll ever understand how much I loathe you.”

You smile, shaking your head but otherwise ignoring me entirely.
After five more minutes of ranting, “pareh nga?” Your glance is quizzical.

Watching the way your shoulders evolve into your arms, I try to hide my smiling eyes.
I recall going to Serrekunda market yesterday to get chewi kong ingredients simply because of the way you happily lick your fingers upon cleaning your plate. My feigned annoyance battles my inward glee.
