Hugh Grant ....Arghhhh

Today's been one of my best days. I talked to family and I'm grateful for every second I spent with them. My cousin Aji was hilarious. She said "Jatou, you realize you've been talking nonstop. I think you should pause and get some air..hehe". I was like "Screw you!" (in wolof)..whatever that is...Haha. When someone asks me adjectives to describe myself, I usually tell them that I'm very talkative. Now thanks to some Facebook brilliance, I learnt another word for talkative is loquacious. I think I'm gonna use that from now on. That way people won't know what the heck I'm talking about. I didn't know the meaning either so thank you google cheeky

Spur of the moment..tonight, I thought why not read some Hugh Grant quotes. Nothing new right. I admit I was bored and needed a kick of vainglorious british ego to fill my gaps and Hugh was perfect. This guy is such a whiner. He cannot stop complaining about how crummy life is and how tortured of a thespian he is. With all his bs (Ooops) and pathetic stories, I actually like and find him funny. Enjoy some Hugh words of wisdom (??)

"I find it hard to understand why Scorsese has never called. You know, given the natural menace I bring to the screen."

"But when you're a celebrity, you discover that you're no longer the pursuer, but the one being pursued. That's one of the disappointments I have had since becoming a single man."

"I don't particularly like babies. I don't mind them for about four minutes. That's my max. After that I can't quite see what everyone's fussing about."

"And film acting is incredibly tedious, just by its nature. It's incredibly, mind numbingly slow."

“But the difference between a good film and real life is that in real life, there's the next day, the next year, the next lifetime to contemplate the ruinous consequences of easy applause.”

"I don't have any particular burning desire to go back to being cuddly. Not really."
